KSWV Radio Shockwave is the modern radio soundtrack of somewhere between Synthwave, Miami Vice, the Retro 80s past and a Cyberpunk future.

We feature some of the best Synthwave, Chillwave, Synth pop, Cyberpunk, Industrial, Synth rock and RETRO 80s music anywhere! But we are also sometimes eclectic… and play a bit of “other non mainstream genres” like local surf music from the best upcoming reggae/ska punk or Indie rock bands too.

We are not mainstream. We are not typical… and we’re not for everybody. We are different in all of the best ways possible. Maybe you are too? What I know for certain is that many of us want something better than the limited choice mainstream music and corporate radio have been offering us all the last two decades.

There is so much talent out there, making beautiful or amazing music that may never be heard because it doesn’t fit the mold of mainstream music or what corporate radio speculates will be profitable.

KSWV Radio Shockwave is a non mainstream digital radio channel without corporate ties or control.  Our vision is a digital radio station that “hand curates” some of the best non mainstream & electronic music on the planet… while at same time helping to promote the music and talent of unsigned music artists as well as those self releasing on their own labels or 3rd party Indie.

How much do we charge? Nothing. KSWV Radio Shockwave does this at no cost to the music artists.

Our funding comes from other avenues. Our hard work, time, and effort come from our passion to create and share with our growing group of friends listening world wide… a music experience unlike any other.
